SOHUM SHAH – Sohum is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Cannabis Commodities Exchange (CCX), the premier wholesale transaction platform and consulting service in Colorado. He is also a freelance writer and cannabis critic for The Denver Post’s Cannabist section, as well as the Co-Founder of the Cannabis Technology Association, a trade association dedicated to the implementation of technology in the cannabis industry.
Sohum is a Denver-native and an alumnus of Cherry Creek High School. After briefly studying Finance and Economics at the University of Colorado in Boulder, he transferred to the Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona. In May 2013, he graduated with a Dual-BSBA in Finance and Management Information Systems and turned down a job from a large tobacco conglomerate to work in Colorado’s cannabis industry. Prior to the launch of CCX, Sohum spent almost a year working as an Application Support Analyst in Scottrade’s corporate IT department.
